Jobs in Kraków: interior finishing, warehouses, production and hotels
For a worker, Kraków is really two cities. One is the tourist city of hotels, restaurants and services. The other is industrial and full of building sites, stretching east towards Niepołomice and Podłęże. The jobs on this site mostly belong to the second, though there are hotel roles too.
Construction: lots of finishing work
Half of Kraków’s listings are in construction, and most of those are finishing jobs: tilers for flat renovations and commercial sites, drywall installers and helpers, plumbers, roofers, an electrician for an industrial project and solar panel fitters. Pay is 28–35 zł net per hour or 5,000–7,300 zł a month, with housing usually provided. See construction jobs in Kraków.
Warehouses and forklifts
Warehouses in Bieżanów and Niepołomice mainly want UDT forklift operators: from 28 zł net up to 42 zł an hour, students up to 38 zł. Without a licence you can pick orders at an auto-parts warehouse. Everything is on the Kraków warehouse jobs page.
Production and services
- packing at a snack factory — 32–36 zł net, one of the best rates for unskilled work;
- window and roller-blind production in Podłęże — employment contract, minimum wage plus bonuses;
- a furniture factory — helper, no experience needed;
- housekeeping in 4–5-star hotels — 4,500–6,500 zł a month, flexible hours;
- seasonal work at an amusement park near Kraków.
Where to start
Most jobs include housing — Kraków jobs with accommodation. No experience? Try Kraków without experience. Couples do best with hotels and production, where employers more often hire two people.
