UDT 1WJO Forklift Operator, Kraków (Bieżanów): PLN 30 Net, Students PLN 38

A warehouse in the Bieżanów district of Kraków. They want men up to 55 with a UDT 1WJO licence. The working week is Monday to Saturday on two rotating shifts: a week of mornings, then a week from midday.

The pay rises if you have your own housing, students are paid more, and there is a bonus system for good work. It is a young team on modern equipment that needs no extra skills.

Main duties

• order picking;
• work on a narrow-aisle truck, moving goods around the warehouse;
• preparing goods for dispatch.

Pay

• PLN 30 net per hour;
• PLN 38 net per hour for students;
• +PLN 250 a month if you have your own housing;
• bonuses for good work;
• your travel pass to work is paid.

Pay arrives between the 15th and 18th of each month; after two weeks worked you can take an advance.

Work schedule

• Monday to Saturday;
• 8–10 hours a day, up to 12 in the season;
• two shifts: from 06:00 and from 14:00, rotating weekly;
• the schedule is set by the supervisor;
• one paid 20-minute lunch break, kitchen available.

Candidate requirements

• men up to 55;
• a UDT 1WJO licence;
• no language needed on the floor — the equipment is modern.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• health insurance from the employer (ZUS);
• help with the residence card and work permit;
• wear whatever is comfortable, the company supplies a vest.

Housing

Housing in Kraków costs PLN 450–600 a month, deducted from your pay. 3–4 people to a room, men and women separately, with hot water, a kitchen and comfortable beds. A couple can be placed in a separate room by arrangement.

Transport

You travel by public transport. If you buy a pass for one line, the cost is refunded.

• the warehouse is at room temperature, but dress warmly in winter;
• every worker has a coordinator.
