Jobs in Poland with accommodation: what “housing provided” really means
A job ad that says “with accommodation” is almost never offering a free flat. In most cases you get a bed in a workers’ hostel or a shared apartment arranged by the employer or agency, and the rent is taken out of your pay. Across the jobs listed on Jobework, housing usually costs 350–550 zł a month. We put the price in each listing so you can work out your take-home pay before you travel.
The real benefit is speed. You don’t have to hunt for a room in a city you don’t know, sign a lease or pay a deposit: you arrive, move in and start your first shift the next day.
How it works in practice
- Shared rooms for 2–4 people. A single room is rare and usually costs extra.
- Deducted from wages. For the first month some employers charge only for the days you actually stayed.
- Commute. Housing can be next to the plant or 10–20 km away, so ask whether there’s a company bus.
- Bills. Some offers include electricity and internet, others charge them separately.
Questions to ask before you go
Ask for the address and, ideally, photos of the room. Check how many people share it, whether utilities are included and what happens to your bed if you leave the job early. Be careful if you’re asked to pay for housing upfront to a private bank card and told the address will be given “on arrival”.
Where most jobs with housing are right now
The big logistics and manufacturing hubs have the most offers: Wrocław with accommodation, Warsaw with accommodation, plus Kraków, Łódź and Poznań. By role, the leaders are factory jobs with accommodation, warehouse worker jobs with accommodation and UDT forklift operators.
