UDT Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Fruit & Vegetable Plant, Bydgoszcz: PLN 36 Gross + Bonus

The downside first: there is no housing, you need your own place. On the plus side, a free company bus runs from Bydgoszcz to the plant, and lunch is free too.

The plant processes fruit and vegetables and is in Dąbrowa Chełmińska, about 25 km from Bydgoszcz. You will drive a counterbalance forklift.

Main duties

• unload raw materials and load finished products;
• feed raw materials to the line and take products to the warehouse;
• quality checks.

When there is no warehouse work, you help on the line at PLN 28.50 gross.

Pay

• PLN 36 gross per hour;
• bonus of 9–16% of pay;
• 160–240 hours a month.

Work schedule

• 8-hour shifts;
• morning and afternoon: 4 days on / 1 off;
• nights: 4 on / 2 off;
• extra hours by agreement with the foreman;
• 15-minute breaks.

Candidate requirements

• Polish UDT certificate;
• forklift experience;
• conversational Polish.

Employment

Warm clothing, boots and the medical check are free. The warehouse is +3…+10°C; dispatch goes down to −18°C, but only if you want to work there. There is a small kitchen area.

Housing

Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert says something different about housing, so confirm the exact terms before you travel.

Transport

Free company bus from Bydgoszcz: stops Focha-Opera, Rondo Fordońskie, Dworzec Fordon, Fordońska-Wiadukt.
