UDT Forklift Operator, Cold Store Plant in Wąwolnica: PLN 25 Net, Students PLN 28, Housing PLN 450

A warning for those who dislike the cold: the warehouse is +5…+10°C, and the freezer rooms are −5…−6°C. Thermal clothing is provided free of charge, though.

The plant is in Wąwolnica, 35 km from Lublin, with paperwork done in Warsaw. They are looking for men up to 55 who have already worked on forklifts and can communicate in Polish.

Main duties

• unload raw materials from trucks and load finished products;
• feed raw materials to the line;
• stack products on pallets and take them to the cold store;
• check quality during loading;
• check the forklift’s condition before each shift.

When there is no warehouse work, you help on the line (washing lids and buckets) at the same rate.

Pay

• PLN 25 net per hour;
• students under 26: PLN 28 net;
• 180–200 hours a month.

Work schedule

• Mon–Sun in shifts: 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–6:00;
• 8-hour shifts only;
• floating days off;
• 30-minute lunch.

Candidate requirements

• men up to 55;
• Polish UDT certificate;
• forklift experience is a must;
• conversational Polish.

Employment

Umowa zlecenie. The sanitary booklet costs PLN 250, deducted from the first salary.

Housing

Housing: PLN 450 a month (PLN 650 for students), bring your own bedding.

Transport

A company bus takes you to work for PLN 100 a month.
