Jobs in Warsaw: warehouses, construction and production
Warsaw is Poland’s biggest job market, but work for foreigners isn’t spread evenly. Inside the city it’s mostly construction and services, while warehouses and plants sit in the suburbs — Błonie, Ożarów Mazowiecki, Radzymin, Sokołów, Karczew and Łomianki. When you browse Warsaw vacancies, look at where the housing is and how you’ll get to work, not just at the rate.
Construction: the most openings in the city
Almost half the listings are in construction: paving layers, bricklayers, rebar workers on bridges and roads, tilers, drywall installers, plumbers and solar panel fitters. Skilled workers earn 28–41 zł an hour (an experienced paver up to 14,000 zł a month), helpers with no experience 4,300–6,500 zł net. Housing on building sites is often free. See construction jobs in Warsaw.
Warehouses and forklifts
Warehouse work in Warsaw mostly means UDT forklift operators: 32–39 zł gross, bonuses of up to 800 zł, and up to 12,000 zł net on reach trucks. Without a licence you can pick orders at supermarket-chain distribution centres. All offers: warehouse jobs in Warsaw.
Production and services
Chocolate products, automated lines, lens manufacturing (mostly for women), catering, chain-store cashiers and hotel housekeeping. Rates are more modest — 26–37 zł an hour — but there are more roles for beginners and students. Many of these jobs don’t require Polish, which makes them a realistic option if you’re looking for jobs in Warsaw for English speakers.
Which page to start with
- First job abroad — jobs in Warsaw without experience.
- Studying in Poland and under 26 — student jobs with a separate, higher rate.
- Need a place to live straight away — Warsaw jobs with accommodation; housing in listings usually costs 400–550 zł a month.
Renting a room in Warsaw costs more than elsewhere, so compare jobs by what’s left after rent, not just by the hourly rate. The salary calculator shows your take-home pay.
