Job description:
Want an umowa o pracę rather than a civil contract? At a paving-stone and concrete-products plant in Warsaw’s Kawęczyn, the forklift operator is hired on a temporary employment contract — with a chance to move onto the plant’s own staff.
The hall is noisy, but the pay is clear: PLN 35 gross an hour, overtime paid extra, and wages arrive by the 10th.
Main duties
- move loads around the plant by forklift;
- load and unload products.
Pay
- PLN 35 gross per hour;
- overtime +50%;
- night hours +20%;
- paid by the 10th of the following month.
Work schedule
- three 8-hour shifts: 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–6:00;
- 168 to 220 hours a month, overtime available;
- March to September — Saturdays if you want them.
Candidate requirements
- forklift experience;
- UDT licence;
- ability to work in a team;
- communicative Polish preferred.
Employment
Temporary umowa o pracę for up to 18 months: the first contract is for one month, then 1–3 months at a time. You may move onto the plant’s staff. Help with legalisation. Work clothes are provided.
Housing
Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert says something different about housing, so confirm the exact terms before you travel.
