Factory and production jobs in Poland
“Employee at the company” is the broadest category on the site. It covers jobs in plants and factories where you work on a production line, run a simple machine, sort, pack or check quality. In Polish ads these roles are usually called pracownik produkcji (production worker) or operator linii (line operator).
You don’t have to live in a big city for this kind of work. Many plants sit in industrial zones near smaller towns, which is why so many listings are tagged by region — Opole, Lower Silesia, Greater Poland — as well as Bielsko-Biała, Gdańsk and Gdynia.
Types of production work
| Industry | Typical tasks | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Food | portioning, packing, weight checks | cold halls, health certificate needed |
| Automotive parts | assembly, press operation | precision, repetitive movements |
| Furniture, plastics, packaging | feeding material, removing finished items | noise, ear protection provided |
| Electronics | small-part assembly, testing | often seated |
Shifts and pay
Most plants run two or three shifts, so night weeks are normal. Listings on the site usually pay 22–34 zł net per hour. Workwear and safety shoes are normally provided, and many employers add a night-shift bonus and an attendance bonus.
Before you say yes
Ask which line you’ll be on, whether you stand for the whole shift, how many hours a month you can expect and who your employer is on paper — the plant itself or an agency. Those four answers tell you more than the job title does.
Many production jobs come with housing: see factory jobs with accommodation. All factory offers are on the factory page, and if you have no experience yet, start with jobs without experience.
