Jobs in Lower Silesia: factories beyond Wrocław
If Wrocław means building sites and warehouses, the rest of Lower Silesia means factories. Jobs are spread across mid-sized towns — Legnica, Polkowice, Lubin, Świdnica, Oława, Żarów, Bolesławiec, Złotoryja, Kłodzko and the Wałbrzych area — making car parts and insulation, home appliances, cables, leather goods and animal feed.
A feature of the region is the number of jobs on an employment contract: 4,242–5,050 zł gross plus bonuses (up to 1,400 zł at a car-parts plant in Legnica). Warehouses in Polkowice and Lubin pay by the hour — 25–34.60 zł net — with scanner or voice picking. Forklift drivers can work at a high-bay warehouse with racking up to 18 metres.
- every job in the region includes housing — Lower Silesia with accommodation;
- most roles need no experience — no experience required;
- some jobs accept couples working at the same plant.
For construction and warehouse jobs in the city itself, see jobs in Wrocław.
