What earns more in Poland
This selection lists vacancies with an hourly rate clearly above most offers on the site. Higher pay almost always has a reason, and it is worth knowing it in advance.
- Qualifications. TIG and MIG/MAG welders, electricians, forklift operators with a UDT licence, CE drivers.
- Awkward hours. Night shifts, weekends and 12-hour days come with extra pay.
- Piece rates. You are paid for output: you can earn more, but less at the start.
How to work out what you will really earn
The rate in the ad is only the start. Ask whether it is gross or net, how many hours are guaranteed each month, what housing costs and whether it is deducted from your pay. The gap between "35 zł" on paper and the money in your account can be noticeable. The salary calculator gives a quick check, and if you don't have a licence yet, see UDT forklift operator jobs.
