Job description:
Warehouse Order Picker — Lublin Voivodeship
A large food distribution warehouse is looking for workers to prepare orders for supermarkets across Poland. The facility is modern and equipped with a partially automated order-picking system. Full training is provided before starting work.
Main Duties
- Picking grocery orders using an electric pallet truck;
- collecting products according to orders with a handheld scanner;
- the scanner shows the required product and quantity;
- instructions are available in Ukrainian and Russian;
- products are arranged by numbered locations for easier navigation;
- orders are picked starting with the heaviest products and finishing with the lightest ones.
Requirements
- Men up to 35 years old;
- previous warehouse experience is not necessary;
- Polish language skills are not required;
- willingness to perform physical work;
- responsibility, discipline and ability to work as part of a team.
Pay
The salary is based on the number of completed orders and follows a piece-rate system.
Dry warehouse:
- from 31.40 to 47 PLN gross/hour.
Fresh department:
- from 31.40 to 45.19 PLN gross/hour.
The more orders you successfully complete, the higher your effective hourly earnings can be.
Working Hours
- Initial training during the first 2–3 days;
- two-shift system;
- shifts lasting 8–12 hours;
- 5–6 working days per week;
- Saturday is a day off.
Dry warehouse:
- 14:00–22:00;
- 22:00–06:00;
- room temperature.
Fresh department:
- 16:00–04:00;
- temperature between 0 and +3°C;
- working with dairy products and smoked goods;
- 12-hour shifts;
- opportunity to increase earnings by completing more orders;
- free meal for Fresh department employees.
Employment and Additional Information
- Official employment under Umowa zlecenie;
- forklift training — 150 PLN, deducted from salary;
- certificate issued after 2 months of employment;
- sanitary book — 130 PLN, issued by the sanitary inspection;
- work shoes, vest and cap are provided;
- trousers must be your own.
Transportation
Employees can commute using public transport.
For workers finishing late, when the shift ends between 23:00 and 05:00, the agency provides free transportation to the accommodation.
