Jobs in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship: metal, foundry, warehouses

Subcarpathia is the Polish region closest to Ukraine, which many workers see as a plus — the trip home is shorter. Industry here is concentrated in a few centres: Rzeszów, Stalowa Wola, Mielec, Ropczyce, Krosno and Wadowice Górne.

  • Welders — MIG/MAG in Stalowa Wola (40 zł net, two shifts) and Ropczyce (35 zł net, housing for 500 zł plus transport). See welder jobs.
  • Production — car wheels in Stalowa Wola (35–38 zł gross), a die-casting machine in Mielec with training, doors, screws and bolts, heat treatment.
  • Warehouses — packing sweets in Rzeszów (32.10 zł net), a food warehouse in Krosno with piece rates and housing for couples, UDT forklift drivers.

Note that in some jobs housing isn’t cheap — 500–750 zł a month — so work out your earnings after rent. Nearly all offers come with accommodation, and a few are open to people without Polish.
