Food Warehouse Worker, Krosno: PLN 22.68–28 Net, Piece Rate, Housing PLN 700, Couples Welcome

A wholesale food warehouse in Krosno, about 60 km from Rzeszów. They want men and married couples up to 45 who are ready to walk a lot, move pallets on an electric truck and work with a scanner.

Earnings here depend on output: there is a piece-rate system, and the more orders you pick, the higher your pay. Students under 26 get higher rates, and married couples are given a separate room.

Main duties

• move goods around the warehouse on electric trucks, following instructions closely;
• scan products and pick orders so that everything is assembled correctly and in the right order.

Pay

• PLN 22.68–28 net per hour;
• PLN 31.40–38 net per hour for students under 26 with a student certificate;
• a night-shift supplement of PLN 1.20 net per hour;
• a supplement of PLN 1 for every hour worked if you rent housing yourself.

Pay depends on the number of orders completed: there is a piece-rate system. An advance of PLN 300 is paid after 10 days worked, as a one-off payment before your first salary. Money goes to your bank account.

Work schedule

• 6 days a week, a working day of 8–12 hours;
• first shift: 14:00–22:00;
• second shift: 22:00–06:00.

The number of hours depends on the number of orders in the warehouse: when there are many, there is more work and more hours; when there are few, slightly fewer.

Candidate requirements

• men and married couples up to 45 years old;
• Polish at A1–A2 level;
• good physical shape and willingness to work;
• ready to work on your feet and on the move, depending on the department.

You will have to lift up to 10–15 kilograms.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• full medical insurance;
• help with arranging a residence card;
• work clothing is free;
• there is no minimum period of work, but you must give two weeks’ notice;
• documents: EU citizenship, visa-free entry, a visa, a residence card, Polish temporary protection and other documents by agreement.

Housing

Housing costs PLN 700 a month, deducted from your pay. You will live in a private house, 2–4 people to a room; a married couple is given a separate room. The house has hot and cold water, a convenient kitchen and washing machines. If you rent housing yourself you get +PLN 1 per hour.

Transport

The advert says nothing about getting to work, so ask how to travel from the house to the warehouse.
