Jobs in Gdynia: the shipyard and local production

Gdynia lives by the sea, and its most interesting jobs are at the shipyard. General shipyard workers are offered 5,500–6,000 zł net a month with housing, steel-structure painters 31–33 zł net an hour, sandblasters 30–33 zł (with some night shifts) and painter’s helpers 27–28 zł. Away from the shipyard there’s cosmetics and water-filter production, ventilation insulation work (weekends off), fish processing with no Polish required, a heat-exchanger warehouse needing a UDT forklift driver (29 zł, 36 zł for students) and an electrician on a building site at 30–32 zł net.
