Warehouse Worker with UDT, Sokołów near Warsaw: Picking and Stacker, PLN 38

Despite the job title, most of your shift here is order picking, not driving. You are on the truck for only about a fifth of the time, but it is a narrow-aisle stacker among tall racking. The warehouse is in Sokołów near Warsaw.

The goods that pass through include drinks, beer, pet food, building materials and home appliances such as washing machines and fridges. Hours are plentiful: 240–280 a month.

Main duties

• pick orders onto pallets;
• put goods on the racking and restock storage spots;
• handle the day-to-day warehouse processes;
• about 20% of the time — a narrow-aisle stacker moving pallets of warehouse goods.

Pay

• PLN 38 gross per hour;
• 240–280 hours a month.

Salary is paid monthly to your bank account.

Work schedule

• Monday to Friday: 06:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00;
• Saturday: 06:00–16:00.

Candidate requirements

• a Polish UDT 1WJO or II licence — a must;
• experience on a high-bay (VNA) truck;
• valid psychotechnical test results;
• a short CV describing your experience.

Employment

• you are signed up in Warsaw;
• medical check-up: PLN 150, taken from your pay;
• work clothes and boots: PLN 150, deducted from the first pay;
• health and safety training (BHP).

Housing

Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert says only your own accommodation, so check this before you travel.

Transport

You pay for your own travel to and from work.

• the product range is mixed, from drinks and feed to appliances, so it rarely gets boring.
