UDT Forklift Operator at a Plant, Łódź: Day Shifts, Free Housing, PLN 25–30 Net

A plant in Łódź making counterweights for household appliances. They need forklift operators for day shifts, and the housing is free, which is rare.

For the first two weeks you can work in your own clothes, after which work clothes are supplied against a deduction. You are expected to stay at least three months.

Main duties

• move material within the department;
• look after the production lines;
• wrap pallets of goods and move them around the warehouse.

Pay

• PLN 25 net per hour — the 8-hour rate;
• PLN 30 net per hour — extra hours;
• students under 26: PLN 31.40, and PLN 34.10 net for extra hours.

Pay arrives in your bank account between the 15th and 18th for the previous month.

Work schedule

• day shifts of 8 hours plus extra hours;
• 168–200 hours a month.

Candidate requirements

• a UDT licence;
• at least a year of experience;
• willingness to stay at least 3 months.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• work clothes after the first two weeks are paid for, the sum depends on the set.

Housing

Housing is free: four to a room, in private flats or hostels. Bring your own bedding; blankets and pillows are provided. There is no extra payment if you have your own place.

Transport

You walk or use local transport at your own cost.
