UDT Forklift Driver, Car-Parts Plant, Czechowice-Dziedzice: Employment Contract, PLN 5,300 Gross

Looking for an umowa o pracę with paid sick leave and holidays rather than a few months of casual work? This is one. An automated car-parts plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice (12 km from Bielsko-Biała), where robots do much of the work, needs a forklift driver with a UDT category 2–3 licence. Paperwork is done in Opole or Wrocław.

The downside: the hall is +25…+35°C with a constant low hum. On the plus side there are rest areas, changing rooms and a canteen serving breakfast and lunch.

Main duties

• receive components from suppliers;
• prepare materials for production;
• restock storage areas;
• dispatch finished products.

Pay

• PLN 5,300 gross a month (umowa o pracę);
• +PLN 250 gross for driving a forklift 10+ hours;
• bonuses PLN 430 gross: PLN 220 for hitting targets and PLN 210 for no absences;
• PLN 280 gross for the 4-crew system;
• about PLN 200 gross for nights;
• PLN 60–90 gross for Sundays and public holidays;
• PLN 34.80 gross for washing workwear.

Sick leave paid at 80 %, paid holiday. Lunches are partly subsidised.

Work schedule

• 4-crew rotation;
• about 168 hours a month.

Candidate requirements

• UDT licence, category 2 or 3.

Housing
