Job description:
A plant in Zawiercie (48 km from Katowice) makes pancakes and ready meals and needs a forklift driver between production and the warehouse. Pallets of finished goods have to be received, put away and kept in order by expiry date.
A perk you rarely see in adverts: staff get the plant’s products free every day, plus discounts on pizza, pasta, pierogi, pancakes and lasagne.
Main duties
- receive and put away finished products;
- move pallets between production and the warehouse;
- work with a scanner;
- check packaging, labels and expiry dates;
- take part in stocktaking.
Pay
- PLN 28.70 net per hour;
- students: PLN 35;
- if you live in your own place: +PLN 1 to the rate.
That is 260–300 hours a month.
Work schedule
- 5–6 days a week, 12-hour shifts;
- shifts 6:00–18:00 or 18:00–6:00;
- floating day off.
Candidate requirements
- UDT certificate;
- Polish at least at A1–A2 level.
Employment
Umowa zlecenie. Work clothes and shoes are free.
Housing
Employer housing costs PLN 600 a month, 2–4 people per room.
