Sweets production and packaging worker

We are hiring men, women and couples up to 60 years old for work at a confectionery production facility in Bełchatów, around 57 km from Łódź.

No previous production experience or Polish language skills are required. Employees receive instructions and training for their assigned tasks.

The facility has several production departments and lines. Workers normally stay on one process during a shift, but may be trained for other tasks when needed. If a particular position is not suitable, another process may be offered.

Your duties

• Packing and sorting confectionery products
• Filling and preparing sweets for packaging
• Checking products for defects
• Preparing sesame-based products while wearing protective gloves
• Placing finished goods into boxes
• Assembling cardboard packaging
• Applying labels and stickers
• Keeping the workstation and equipment clean

Most tasks are performed while standing, although some positions allow sitting.

Pay

• 26 PLN net/hour
• Students under 26: 31.40 PLN net/hour
• Attendance bonus: 0.50 PLN for every hour worked
• The attendance bonus is paid when the employee completes the month without unjustified absences according to the schedule
• Salary is paid between the 20th and 25th of each month to a Polish bank account
• Advance payment is available after the first week of work

Work schedule

Two schedule options are available:

12-hour shifts — 4/4 system

• 06:00–18:00
• 18:00–06:00

8-hour shifts — 5–6 days per week

• 06:00–14:00
• 14:00–22:00
• 22:00–06:00

Occasional Saturday work may be required.

Approximately 160–250 hours per month.

Breaks:

• 12-hour shift: two 15-minute breaks
• 8-hour shift: one 15-minute break

Accommodation

• Accommodation costs 650 PLN/month and is deducted from salary
• The accommodation is approximately 250–500 metres from the workplace
• A 50 PLN key deposit is required and is returned when the key is handed back upon leaving

Workplace facilities

The production area is maintained at a comfortable temperature of approximately 20–23°C.

Employees have access to:

• Water coolers
• Dining area
• Kettle and refrigerator
• Personal lockers

Confectionery may be consumed on the premises, but taking products outside the facility is prohibited.

Additional costs

• Work clothing and safety footwear: 100 PLN, deducted from the first salary
• If employment ends before 3 months, an additional 250 PLN may be deducted
• Medical examination: free after 3 months; if employment ends earlier, 100 PLN is deducted
• Sanitary book: 350 PLN, deducted from the first salary

Requirements

• Men, women and couples up to 60 years old
• Biometric passport, work visa or residence card
• Good physical condition
• Reliability and discipline
• Ability to work as part of a team

Experience and Polish are not required.

Smoking is prohibited on the premises. Women must not wear eyelash extensions, artificial nails or nail polish/coating. Visible piercings must be removed.
