Seafood Plant, Bydgoszcz: From PLN 25.70 Net, Free Lunch

A Bydgoszcz seafood plant has three departments: breading, fresh fish and dispatch. The first two need no experience or Polish; dispatch needs communicative Polish.

It is +6…+10°C and damp inside, so thermal underwear and footwear are provided free. On the first Thursday of the month you get a voucher for 1–2 kg of fish.

Main duties

• breading: lay fish and fish fingers on the conveyor, sort, weigh, pack;
• fresh fish: load fish into the machine, check cleaning, use a knife, lay fillets on the belt;
• dispatch: prepare orders, use a scanner and computer.

Pay

• from PLN 25.70 net per hour;
• students: PLN 31.40;
• advances up to PLN 500 a month.

Work schedule

• Mon–Sat in shifts, including nights;
• 8–12 hours: shifts 14–22, 18/22–6 and others;
• 160–240 hours a month.

Candidate requirements

• men and women up to 50;
• women: no long nails, gel polish or false lashes.

No experience needed.

Housing

Housing PLN 790 a month (house, flat or hostel, 3–4 per room). About 15 minutes to work by bus; monthly ticket about PLN 118.
