Job description:
A car plant near Lubin and Legnica (Polkowice) is hiring for three roles: a picker with no experience, a category 2 forklift operator and a category 1 high-bay forklift operator.
On top of the rate there is a monthly bonus scheme for quality, attendance and training newcomers. Work clothes are free and you can take an advance after the first week.
Main duties
- picker/unloader: bring components to the lines on a hydraulic pallet truck, pick and pack orders, stick labels, use a scanner and racking; with a category B licence — take parts to a robot line in a plant car (training provided);
- category 2 forklift operator: take components to the workstations on a side or front forklift (80% of the time), auxiliary warehouse work (20%);
- category 1 high-bay operator: stacker or high forklift (80% of the time), manual work and tidying (20%).
Pay
- PLN 25 net per hour — picker (no experience) and category 2 forklift operator;
- PLN 27–28 net per hour — high-bay operator;
- quality bonus (no errors): +PLN 240 a month gross;
- 100% attendance bonus: +PLN 200 a month (one absence — PLN 100, two — PLN 50);
- for training a newcomer +PLN 200, and another +PLN 200 if they stay 3 months.
Work schedule
- three 8-hour shifts: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00;
- Monday to Saturday, Sunday if you want;
- after training, with the foreman’s agreement, you can work 12 hours or more.
Candidate requirements
- picker: no experience, just willingness to work;
- category 2: forklift experience and a UDT licence;
- high-bay: experience on a high-bay truck and a category 1 UDT licence.
Employment
Employment under an umowa zlecenie.
- full social package, health insurance and pension contributions (ZUS);
- work clothes are free.
Housing
Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert promises comfortable housing but gives no price, so confirm the exact terms before you travel.
Transport
