Fruit and Berry Processing Worker, Łopatki near Lublin: PLN 25.50–32.70 Net, up to PLN 7,400

In Łopatki, 40 km from Lublin, fruit and berries are washed, sorted and processed. It is line work: unloading, loading and checking quality so that production does not stop.

For the first month you work in a cold shop where the temperature drops to −5°C, and then people are moved to an ordinary shop at +15°C. On the other hand, the town has all the infrastructure, and an advance is available every week.

Main duties

• wash, sort and process fruit and berries at the line;
• keep production running without a break: unload and load fruit;
• check the quality of the products made.

Pay

• average pay PLN 5,800 to 7,400 net a month;
• PLN 25.50 net per hour — the rate;
• PLN 32.70 net per hour — ages 18 to 26 (confirm the terms).

You can take an advance every week: the first after 5 shifts worked. Pay goes into your bank account on the 25th of the following month.

Work schedule

• day and night shifts, 6 days a week;
• 8 hours: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00;
• a 30-minute lunch break;
• 170–230 hours a month.

Candidate requirements

• readiness to work in a cold shop (down to −5°C); warm clothing and shoes are issued.

Workers must have no extended nails or lashes and no jewellery.

Employment

Official employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• work clothing is free.

Housing

Housing is provided by the employer, rooms for 2–4 people, and married couples live together (two couples to a room). There is everything needed, Wi-Fi and a fridge. Utilities are PLN 500 a month (from your pay). If you rent housing yourself you get +PLN 1 net per hour.

Transport

Travel to work is PLN 100 a month, deducted from your pay.
