Job description:
Looking for a permanent job rather than a two-month season? A laminate flooring plant in Żary, 35 km from Zielona Góra, is hiring forklift drivers with UDT — men up to 45.
The rota is a bit unusual: six days (two mornings, two evenings, two nights), then two days off. New workers are met at Zielona Góra station.
Main duties
- moving goods around the plant;
- loading finished products onto trucks.
Pay
- PLN 27.85 net per hour in months 1–12;
- from month 13: PLN 28.85 net.
Paid on the 15th–20th.
Work schedule
- 8-hour shifts + extra work;
- 6 working days (2 mornings, 2 evenings, 2 nights) and 2 days off.
Candidate requirements
- UDT licence;
- understanding of Polish;
- men up to 45.
Employment
Umowa zlecenie. Medical check and health & safety training on site. A one-off PLN 300 is deducted for clothing and paperwork; the workwear is new — jacket, trousers, boots.
They arrange a 3-year residence card or a voivode’s invitation.
Housing
Cottages at PLN 600 a month: kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, internet, dishes and bedding. 2–5 people per room, walking distance to the plant. If you live in your own place, you get +PLN 0.50 per hour (when working over 160 hours).
