Forklift Driver at a Car Glass Plant, Dąbrowa Górnicza: PLN 32.82 Gross, Contract

At a car glass plant in Dąbrowa Górnicza, the forklift moves glass, containers and materials between the warehouse and the lines. The job is on an umowa o pracę, and after 6–12 months you can move onto the plant’s own staff; after 18 months it is guaranteed.

The plant runs a four-crew system, so shifts are planned two months ahead and there is a separate allowance for it.

Main duties

• move glass, containers and materials around the plant;
• load and unload;
• receive materials and deliver them to the production line;
• check the forklift’s condition.

Pay

• PLN 32.82 gross per hour (about PLN 4,100–5,500 net a month);
• +PLN 400 gross for the four-crew system;
• overtime +50%, +100% or +200%;
• canteen meal subsidy up to PLN 170 a month;
• referral bonus up to PLN 3,000.

Weekly payouts on request.

Work schedule

• three shifts: 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–6:00;
• rota set two months ahead;
• 15-minute break.

Candidate requirements

• UDT licence;
• forklift experience;
• conversational Polish;
• CV.

Employment

Umowa o pracę. Sports card or private healthcare — your choice. Clothes, shoes and PPE provided. Warm in winter, ventilated in summer.

Housing

Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert says something different about housing, so confirm the exact terms before you travel.

Transport

§Free company bus (about 30 minutes) from Sosnowiec, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Będzin, Czeladź, Jaworzno, Sławków and Olkusz.
