Food Production Worker, Zduny near Starogard: PLN 30.50 Gross, Housing PLN 550, Transport

A food factory in the village of Zduny near Starogard Gdański: ready meals and meat and fish semi-finished products. They need production-line workers aged 18 to 55.

The work is partly manual: dosing, capping and rolling cabbage rolls. Conditions are not the easiest: +4°C in the cold room, +25°C in the shop, and night shifts.

Main duties

• work on the production line: align jars and packs, feed and dose components;
• operate dosing, capping, labelling and packing equipment;
• do manual work: prepare mince and sauces, roll cabbage rolls and roulades, dose ingredients;
• check quality and follow technological standards and sanitary rules;
• follow health and safety rules and use protective equipment (gloves, work clothes, shoes).

Pay

• PLN 30.50 gross per hour (PLN 24.63 net);
• 168–176 hours a month, roughly PLN 5,124 to 5,368 gross.

Work schedule

• three shifts: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00;
• night shifts are included;
• one break a day of 15–20 minutes.

Candidate requirements

• good manual skills;
• attentiveness and discipline;
• aged 18 to 55.

Employment

An umowa zlecenie, with health insurance only.

• the employer offers no extra benefits and no meals.

Housing

Housing costs PLN 550 a month, deducted from your pay.

Transport

Free transport to the workplace.

• temperature: the cold room +4°C, the production shop +25°C;
• humidity and a moderate level of noise;
• you must bring your own food.
