Wrocław without experience: warehouse or building site?
Newcomers in Wrocław have plenty of choice, and it usually comes down to two routes.
Warehouse or production. Regular shifts, 25–33 zł net per hour and training on day one. Online-shop and appliance warehouses, shoe repacking, packing car parts with bonuses of up to 800 zł. Most sites are outside the city, with transport provided.
Construction helper. A plumber’s, roofer’s or finisher’s helper earns 4,600–6,900 zł net a month plus housing. It’s harder physically and depends on the weather, but after a few months you can move up to a skilled role paying twice as much.
Not sure? Start in a warehouse — it’s an easier way to get used to the country and the language. Nearby: Wrocław warehouses, Wrocław with accommodation, Wrocław without Polish.
