UDT Forklift Driver at an Auto Parts Plant, Bielsko-Biała: PLN 27 Net, 12-Hour Shifts

A modern company in Bielsko-Biała makes car parts: shelves, mats, door panels and headliners. 12-hour shifts and working Saturdays keep earnings steadily high — from PLN 6,800 net a month.

Electric, gas and front forklifts are used. You have to pass a compulsory test before you are hired.

Main duties

• load and unload materials in the warehouse and between workshops;
• pick orders;
• prepare products for dispatch;
• handle warehouse paperwork;
• wrap pallets with film and move them around the warehouse.

Pay

• PLN 27 net per hour (from PLN 6,800 net a month);
• PLN 30.50 net — under 26 with student status (from PLN 7,600 net);
• +PLN 1 an hour if you live in your own housing.

Work schedule

• 12 hours, two shifts: 05:45–17:45 and 17:45–05:45;
• some Saturdays are working days.

Candidate requirements

• a UDT licence;
• at least 6 months on a forklift;
• ability to work on your feet;
• willingness to stay at least 3 months.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• work clothes are paid for and deducted from your pay;
• a compulsory test before you start.

Housing

Housing is PLN 18 a night. If you use your own, +PLN 1 an hour.

Transport

You get to work by local transport.
