UDT Forklift Driver at a Beer and Food Warehouse, Szczecin: PLN 30–31.40 Net

A big modern warehouse of food and everyday goods in Szczecin: groceries, drinks, dairy, beer and more. Side forklifts are used and the warehouse is tall.

The rate goes up from the second month. The shifts are 14:00–22:00 and 22:00–06:00, so be ready for that.

Main duties

• drive a forklift in a high-bay warehouse;
• place and take pallets off high racking;
• move goods between warehouse zones;
• restock picking locations;
• receive and place goods;
• work with a scanner;
• monitor best-before dates;
• take part in stocktakes and help with picking when needed.

Pay

• PLN 30 net per hour — the first month;
• PLN 31 net — from the second month;
• PLN 31.40 net — under 26 with student status;
• +PLN 1 an hour if you live in your own housing.

Work schedule

• two 8-hour shifts: 14:00–22:00 and 22:00–06:00;
• extra hours possible.

Candidate requirements

• a valid Polish forklift licence;
• no experience needed if you hold the licence.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

Housing

Housing can be arranged: roughly PLN 500 a month, deducted from your pay. The advert promises housing but gives no price, so confirm the exact terms before you travel.
