Job description:
Nowy Pilczyn, 40 km from Warsaw. The crew has three experienced roofers and two or three helpers and needs one or two more — a roofer or a helper.
On top of the hourly rate the crew gets a percentage of each job, so average earnings come to PLN 8,000–9,000 net a month. When it rains they install advertising stands instead.
Main duties
- install tile and metal-tile roofing;
- build rafter systems;
- work at heights of up to three storeys.
Pay
- experienced roofer — from PLN 35 net per hour;
- helper — from PLN 30 net;
- plus a percentage of the job value;
- advertising stand installation in bad weather — from PLN 30 net;
- on average PLN 8,000–9,000 net a month.
Candidate requirements
- roofing experience for roofers;
- helpers must be ready to work at height.
Employment
- umowa zlecenie.
Work clothes are not supplied — bring your own.
Housing
Free housing in a private house, 3–4 people to a room. Workers themselves rate it 5 out of 10.
Transport
Transport from the housing to the sites is paid by the employer.
