Picker at a Branded Clothing Warehouse, Polkowice: PLN 25.36–31.40 Net, 160–272 Hours

A modern automated warehouse of branded clothing, shoes and accessories in Polkowice, belonging to a well-known European chain. They need people for receiving goods, picking orders and packing.

There are plenty of hours here, from 160 to 272 a month, with 12-hour day and night shifts. Training is on the job, and the warehouse is kept at +20…+25°C.

Main duties

• receive goods: sort products, scan them with a handheld scanner, check and place them in the warehouse;
• pick orders from an electronic task, check products and pack finished orders.

Pay

• PLN 25.36 net per hour — the standard rate;
• PLN 31.40 net per hour — for students under 26;
• +PLN 1 net for every hour worked if you live in your own housing.

The base rate is PLN 31.40 gross per hour. Pay is made officially into your bank account.

Work schedule

• 12-hour shifts, day and night: 06:00–18:00, 14:00–02:00, 22:00–10:00;
• roughly 160–272 hours a month;
• two breaks during a shift: 20 and 10 minutes.

Candidate requirements

• readiness for a 12-hour shift schedule;
• for students — a certificate of student status;
• training takes place on the job.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• the employer provides a protective vest and work shoes, and you can work in your own comfortable clothes.

Housing

Housing is provided by the agency — hostels or flats, 2–5 people to a room, with a kitchen, washing machines and Wi-Fi. It costs PLN 550 a month, deducted from your pay. If you rent housing yourself you get +PLN 1 net per hour.

Transport

You can walk to the warehouse in about 25 minutes. By public transport the fare is about PLN 150 a month.
