Grocery Warehouse Worker — Stawiguda near Olsztyn (3 months minimum)

A grocery warehouse in Stawiguda, a few kilometres from Olsztyn. They take people who can stay at least three months. For the first days a foreman who speaks Ukrainian and Russian shows you everything, and after probation the rate goes up.

Main duties

• picking goods onto pallets with a voice system;
• working with an electric pallet truck;
• dairy and frozen sections;
• keeping the picking area tidy.

Pay

• PLN 26 net per hour to start, PLN 31.4 for students under 26;
• after probation PLN 32.5, students PLN 36.75;
• two advances after 10 days worked.

Pay by the 28th to your bank account.

Work schedule

• 6–8 hours a day, three shifts;
• week-on/week-off rotation with a floating day off;
• 168–180 hours a month;
• 20-minute break on an eight-hour shift.

Candidate requirements

• minimum stay of three months;
• no Polish needed;
• readiness to work in cold sections.

Employment

Employment under an umowa zlecenie.

• medical check-up;
• health and safety training (BHP);
• dry building, +16 to +18 °C;
• free work clothes.

Housing

Accommodation is provided. It costs PLN 550 a month, in shared rooms.

Transport

Bus PLN 150 a month, deducted from pay.

Additional

• free lunches during the shift.
