Question - Answer
How much can you earn coming to work in Poland for 3 months?
If your goal is to make quick money in Poland, it’s best to choose a job with a 12-hour workday. The average hourly rate is currently 23-26 PLN/hour. You can expect to earn around 5800-6500 PLN per month. However, you should also consider expenses: 500 PLN for a hostel; 800 PLN for food for one person. In total, you should be able to save around 5000 PLN or 1300 USD per month.
Why is Poland the best country if you’re under 26?
If you’re under 26, Poland offers unique opportunities. An agency can help you enroll in a distance learning program, allowing you to receive a higher wage. How does it work? It’s simple: if you’re under 26 and a student, you can be exempt from paying taxes. As a result, the average salary for most workers with a 12-hour workday is about 6000 PLN, but for you, it will be approximately 8500 PLN.
What should you do immediately after arriving in Poland?
Get a PESEL number — this is your personal identification number, similar to a tax code in CIS countries. To get a PESEL, you need to go to the Urząd (local office), bring your passport, approach the registration desk, and stand in line. Open a bank account. You’ll need your passport and PESEL for this. (If you’re coming to work through us, we’ll gladly help you with this process.)
